The town's first gun store opened in 1903 and its last gun store closed in 1974. The first gun store in Titusville was founded by Wm. Lusk and his son-in-law Harry Sheppard on West Third Street between Center Street and Orange Avenue. They sold shotguns, rifles, ammunition, and other firearms from their shop until it closed its doors in 1903. It was then that Wm. Lusk's grandson George Lusk started the second TitusvilleGunStore on South Church Street near Central Avenue which continued to sell firearms until 1977 when it too closed its doors. The third TitusvilleGunStore opened on North Main Street off of US 1 just north of downtown in 1978 and continued to sell firearms until 1984 when it also closed its doors due to increased competition from larger stores opening up around the region. The fourth TitusvilleGunStore opened located at 501 E State Road 5 south of US1 on December 9th 1990 and continued to sell firearms until it too closed its doors due to increased competition from larger stores opening up around the region as well as a changing landscape with more accessibility to guns online making them an increasingly popular choice for consumers looking for quality handguns at a lower price point than traditional brick-and-mortar stores

Titusville is a city in Osceola County, Florida, United States. The population was 26,909 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Osceola County. Titusville was founded in 1892 by settlers from Massachusetts and renamed for General Titus Scott who fought in the American Civil War. The city was incorporated in 1907 and became a state capital in 1959. In 2000, it merged with neighboring Tavares to form a larger city known as Tavares-Titusville. The first permanent settler to arrive in what is now Titusville arrived on April 17, 1892, when Lt. Colonel John Hinchcliffe and his men disembarked from the USS "Pine Tree" at what is now Harbor Walk Boulevard. They were part of an expedition led by Captains Sherman and Boomerang that explored Indian River Sound near present day Fort Pierce Beach on what is now US-1A (now US- 1B) across from today's Aqua Dunes Resort & Casino complex on Boardwalk Avenue). The town of Titusville was named after General Titus Scott who fought during the American Civil War on behalf of the Confederate States of America (CSA). William Pritchard built one of the first homes in this area which he called "Nigger Hill". By 1920 there were over 50 homes in downtown Titusville with a total population estimated at 2,500 people; however this number did not include Blacks or anyone living below poverty line due to segregation then still practiced throughout most of Florida.). In 1907, when local government consolidation within Osceola County occurred, City Hall and courthouse moved from Boston Heights to downtown where they remain to this day. On July 20th 1907 Mayor Aiken announced that "the old boardwalk along Boardwalk avenue will become known as Romanoff Drive." This name honors Mrs Anna Romanoff (1861-1948), wife of Russian immigrant Simeon Wolkowsky who also purchased land adjacent to present day Cypress Road/Highway 442 which he donated to build churches and other community services adjacent to his citrus groves there until his death suddenly just prior to construction beginning! Mrs Romanoff later gave her husband's entire estate including 10 acres bordering Highways 442 & 134 directly across from modern day Cypress Road/Highway 442 back into Wolkowsky's hands - making him oneof only4 African Americans self-sufficient landowners within radius defined by these highways! Today much remains unchanged about this unique episode throughout all these years since Anna’s descendants live close by!!!

Titus and his brother-in-law, Wm. Fenton, as a small farming community on the west side of Lake Worth Boulevard between Northwest 117th Street and Northwest 130th Street. The name "Titusville" originated from its founders' affiliation with the Episcopal church in London, England which had been based there for many years before coming to Florida in the early 1800s. In 1921, J.P Titus sold his interest in the community to Dr., Clarence Aiken who established Aiken Clinic here which became one of South Florida's leading healthcare providers until it closed its doors in 2004 due to financial difficulties; however it still remains an important cultural icon and tourist destination today for both locals and tourists alike In 1978 local developer John Garton purchased land east of town along Northwest 117th Street and began developing what would become known as Garton Park into an upscale development that included restaurants, shopping malls,,condominiums,,and other recreational amenities In 2007 Garton Park was renamed after its original developer - John Garton III - following his death . Titusville is a town in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. The population was 21,767 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Miami metropolitan area. The name "Titusville" was given to the community by General James Wilkinson during the American Revolutionary War as part of a land grant to Titus Tattersall. In 1837, John Covington built a cotton gin and distillery on what is now US-1st Street in Titusville. The first post office in Titusville was established in 1838. By 1840, there were five stores and one hotel in Titusville. A millinery shop opened in 1846 and soon became a prominent commercial center for citrus production and processing throughout south-central Florida. The first telephone service began operations in 1903; it continued until 1978 when it was replaced by fiber optic cable. In 1940, local citizens raised money to build an airfield known as Jacksonville Beach Air Force Base (later renamed Jacksonville Naval Air Station). The airfield was named after Admiral William Halsey, Jr., commander of U S Fleet Battle Force during World War II who had died in 1944 while commanding Task Force 58 which flew raids over Japan against the Kaitaia Islands military airstrip (). Construction began on January 16, 1941; Joint Chiefs of Staff General George Marshall and Admiral Ernest J Callison were among those present at the groundbreaking ceremony which took place at Hollywood Cemetery(). After numerous delays due to World War II construction stoppages and hurricanes Irma and Wilma (STAFFORD),the airport dedicated its opening day on November 3rd 1945 with general aviation traffic flying from both JAX Airport & NASJacksonville Beach (). On December 4th 1945 NAS Jacksonville Beach hosted its first international passengers as Australian Army contingents arrived courtesy of Air America Airlines flight AUS824 from Los Angeles via New York City following their invasion of New Guinea It was not until 1991 that NAS Jacksonville beach became homeport for Space Shuttle Atlantis after being moved from Miramar Naval Air Station which closed following Operation Desert Storm
