Titusville, Florida is a small town located in Orange County, Florida. It is home to the Titusville War Museum and Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park. The museum was founded in 1971 by retired Colonel David L. Cook, Jr. The park was established in 1979 by then-Governor Neil A. Armstrong. Additionally, on September 11th 2006 local residents collected over 100 items from throughout downtown Titusville to create what is now known as "TitusVILLE'S WAR FESTIVAL". This event marking 10 years since Operation Iraqi Freedom began raised over $10K for local charities selected by Governor Armstrong himself!
