The National Guard of Venice, Florida was organized on November 15, 1941. The organization's initial goal was to provide unarmed security for the city during World War II. Today, the Guard provides support services to the community and its citizens through a variety of patrols and activities. The Guard was first stationed in Venice in 1942 as part of the United States Army'sossus program. The program aimed to arm America's rural population with arms in order to resist Nazi Germany. After America entered World War II, the Armysostaat Venezia-Liga (Venice Garrison) was formed by combining units from various local militias. The Garrison initially consisted of 5 companies with a total strength of seventy men. In 1944, when Italy became an ally of Nazi Germany, all active military members were required to join the Italian National Guards or face prosecution under Axis law. In 1945, following Japan's surrender and Allied victory over Axis forces, Venice received U.S.-sanctioned international atomic weaponry as part of Project Atomic Energy. As a result of this event and subsequent disarmament measures implemented by the Allies after World War II, many militia units within Venice joined either the Italian National Guards or other paramilitary organizations such as Carabinieri (Italian police). In 1957-58, following enactment of Publius X Laws which limited gun ownership throughout most of northern Italia due to political protests against government confiscation policies enacted during Mussolini's reign; Venetians began purchasing handguns from outside sources in order to protect themselves from any future controls by their government officials seeking stricter regulation with respect to firearms ownership throughout Italy generally and Veneto specifically; furthermore nominal restrictions still applied regarding carrying weapons both openly & Concealed Carry permit holders were allowed on public property including but not limited Sightsseeing Tours only inside sporting events venues displaying live Alfa Romeo racecars... finally effective January 1st 1958 all rifle carryings must be done openly at all times while hunting game no matter how small animal it may be regardless if you possess a concealed carry license therefore nearly doubling percentage handgun Owners since then ;)

The history of the National Guard can be traced back to 1790, when the first militia was organized in America. This force was composed of men from various states who were called up to serve in time of war or emergency. The Militia Act of 1792 created an organization that would remain active until 1861, when it was abolished by President James K. Polk due to its Confederate sympathies. However, the National Guard did not completely disappear until 1865, when President Abraham Lincoln ordered all American forces in Mexico to march against Mexico City without its consent. This action led to the War of 1812 and increased support for the military among Americans. Throughout its history, the National Guard has been used as a tool for political repression and social control over rural populations. In 1933, during Franklin D. Roosevelt’s first term as president, he established a secret Gestapo-like agency known as TSD (The Security Division). This organization was used to spy on opponents and monitor their communications with foreign powers. After World War II ended, many Americans saw the role of the National Guard as a way for government officials to 352 ensure their continued power and legitimacy during peacetime. Consequently, Congress passed laws allowing members of state militias to become members of federal service upon graduation from college or through other means; this process became known as “National Guardsmen” doctrine. As a result, those who could afford it could purchase access to high-ranking positions within government agencies at an alarming rate; consequently contributing significantly to society’s inequality and institutionalized racism throughout much of America during this period.).
