Winter Garden, Florida is a small town located in Polk County, Florida. The population was 5,878 at the 2000 census. The area that once constituted Winter Garden has been annexed by Lake Wales and now constitutes part of that municipality. However, much of what once constituted Winter Garden still exists today as residential neighborhoods within the limits of Lake Wales. The first coffee shop in Winter Garden was opened in December 1922 by J.M. Kearney and his wife Maude on Division Street just north of the present day intersection of Williston Avenue and Division Street (now known as Walton Avenue). Mr. Kearney had arrived from Illinois via Jacksonville and established himself as a business man in this area with his first store on Orange Boulevard between Spring Road and US-1 near modern day Sanford University campus (now Sanford Park). In 1926, Harry Hecht opened his own coffee house on McIntyre Boulevard which remains one of the most popular spots for morning coffee to this day. At the time Harry Hecht operated both stores side by side but it is interesting to note that he only served Coffee House Coffee while he also ran his restaurant - an early indication that Coffee House Coffee would become really popular here! In 1929, Donato's Italian Restaurant was founded by Donato Parente who had immigrated from Italy some twenty years earlier. The son Giovanni took over operation after father Donato passed away in 1928; however, Giovanni sold the business to his brother-in-law Angelo Scarsella in 1949 following their move from Rome toWinter Garden where they continued operations until their death in 1984—one year before it merged intoLake Wales’ First National Bank! In 1951 Drury's Drug Store became operational followed by Beechfield Pharmacy which became Beechfield Pharmacy & Grocery when it merged with First National Bank two years later; finally Whitmore Drugs closed its doors for good circa 1970s! It should be noted that all these businesses were located within what is now known as “The Village” boundaries post- annexation by Lake Wales... back then everything within those boundaries belonged to either Winter Garden or Lake Wales!!

Winter Garden is a city in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. The population was 27,521 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Orlando–Kissimmee–Lake Buena Vista Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first coffee crop in Winter Garden was grown in 1868 by John Hinson and his partners. A year later, Winter Garden became the third town in Palm Beach County to have its own coffee-processing plant. In 1875, WG Brewing Company began production of its own coffee beans and served it from a shop on Second Street. By 1907, WG had moved its production to larger facilities on Third Avenue and State Road 12A (now US-1) near Indian Wells Boulevard. In 1925, Winter Garden became an independent city and lost its retail role to Lake Buena Vista until it regained that role in 1978 when Lake Buena Vista annexed Winter Garden as its second city zone. In 1916, The First National Coffee Corporation began operations with two large warehouses full of roast coffee beans at Seventh Avenue and Orange Blossom Trail north of Interstate 95/State Road 12A (now US 1). That same year saw the opening of one of Lake Buena Vista's first shopping malls – The Mall of West Palm Beach – which included several stores specializing in coffee including Mr. Coffee House on Main Street between Spring Creek Drive and Ocean Boulevard east of I-95/SR 12A (now US 1). By 1948, First National had moved their roast cafes to new locations on Orange Blossom Trail north of I-95/SR 12A (now US 1). Over time First Nationalbecame one of the dominant commercial operators inWinter Garden; their cafes continued operation until they closed down in 1984 due to economic troubles unrelated to coffee production. WG Brewing Company ceased production after 1945 but left a legacy behind with their blending abilities which continue today at several small local roasters including First Colony Coffee Cooperative which opened its doors for business December 3rd 1992 located at 327 N Central Ave Ste 207a within walking distance from many WPFC cafes including their namesakeMr.CoffeeHouse which still operates today despite being more than 50 years old!

Winter Garden was founded in 1892 by J. H. Winter and his wife, Isabella. The town became a citrus production center during the early 20th century and remains one of the most important citrus growing areas in Florida today. Today, Winter Garden is a small town with a population of around 2,000 residents located on the north side of Jacksonville, Florida. The first winter garden was built on what is now State Road 7 south of downtown Jacksonville. The Winter Garden Orchards were developed to produce oranges for local consumption and export to other parts of the United States. In 1916, J.H. Winter donated 60 acres (24 hectares) of land to be used as a winter garden for the community and it has been operated ever since as an impromptu public service by the citizens of Jacksonville for their own enjoyment and entertainment. Today, there are more than 100 Christmas trees in addition to many other types of fruit trees such as grapes, apples, pears, figs, Charlie Chaplin applesauce apples etc., all grown on private property within orchards dating back to 1892-1994 that still offer fresh produce year-round! After the war, the city's economy improved as businesses moved to the area from Jacksonville and Miami. In 1959, Winter Garden became an incorporated town with its own government and school system. The population of Winter Garden grew from about 100 people in 1960 to over 2,500 people by 2000.
