The origins of Fresh Roasted Coffee can be traced back to 1951 when two friends, Mr. and Mrs. John Wessels started their own coffee shop in Winter Springs, FL called “The Coffee House” They were the first business to offer fresh roasted coffee on a large scale in our area. The success of their business led them to open more cafes and restaurants throughout our community; this helped contribute to the growth of our industry today!

Winter Springs is a city in Polk County, Florida, United States. The population was 25,824 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Jacksonville Metropolitan Statistical Area. The name "Winter Springs" may be derived from "Winnipesaukee", which means "place where winter snows fall". Winter Springs was incorporated as a city on December 15, 1925. The first Europeans to visit Winter Springs were French explorers who named it La Ville de Nantes after their town in France. A post office called La Ville de Nantes was established in 1827, and remained in operation until 1906. In 1924, the City of Winter Springs was created when parts of Gainesville and Ocala were combined to form the new county of Polk. In 1928, Drury Lane Elementary School opened as one of thirteen schools within the City of Winter Springs; it became an all-day public school in 1951. In 1980, First Baptist Church moved into its current building on North Main Street and began serving as our church's main sanctuary until 2003 when they purchased a adjacent property to build their own sanctuary which they still use today! In 1987-1988 WVUWE (now WWVL)FM startedamsat service providing broadcasting coverage for area events live from studios located inside First Baptist Church! This event helped spur growth for the city with businesses coming to town looking for more exposure! In 2000-2001 we had a large civic celebration taking place Downtown including street fairs andpizza parlors etc... Bruce Hargrave (President/CEO Parkview Hospital) attended along with many other dignitaries! The downtown area now houses several restaurants/bars as well as some retail stores!!!
Winter Springs was founded in 1892 as a small community on the east side of Florida. It grew rapidly, becoming a major agricultural center and becoming one of the most important areas in Florida for citrus production. The community had a school, churches, businesses and homes until it was destroyed by fire in 1926.
