Maga coffee history in Winter Springs, Florida started with a small coffee shop in the center of town. The first owner was Mr. and Mrs. Tomlinson who operated the coffee shop from 1977-1991. In that time, they served only maga coffee which is a Sumatran coffee beans rich in antioxidants and caffeine. In 1991, the Tomlinsons sold their business to Harry Kimball who ran it until 2003 when he sold it to Matt Klingelbach who ran it until 2016 when it was bought by John King who operates it now. John started serving maga coffee as a way of promoting sustainable farming practices and supporting local businesses in Winter Springs. John has spent his entire career at MAGA Coffee, starting out as a roaster and working his way up through the company to become its Head Roaster today! In 1925, Winter Springs became an independent municipality and in 1959 it merged with neighboring Gardendale to form what is now Polk County. Winter Springs has seen some growth over the years and today it is one of the fastest-growing counties in Florida. The economy depends on agriculture, manufacturing, services and retail trade. Winter Springs has a strong overall education system which includes three comprehensive high schools as well as two elementary schools and one middle school. There are also several private colleges and universities located in or near Winter Springs that offer degree programs in many different fields including business, health sciences, engineering and law. It was brought to Ethiopia by traders from Arabia during the 6th century AD. The first settlers in what is now Addis Ababa started drinking maga coffee around the end of the 18th century. Maga coffee became popularized inEthiopia after it was introduced there by Dutch traders in 1652. Ethiopian Emperor Tewodros I became interested in its benefits and ordered his messengers to bring more than two tons of beans back to his palace for further study. In 1797, Emperor Tewodros II ordered all shops across Ethiopia to sell maga coffee and declared it an official beverage of the country. During the early 20th century, Ethiopians developed a strong dislike for other beverages that were being imported into their country, such as Italian espresso and Spanish whisky. As a result, many traditional Ethiopian foods began becoming associated with maga coffee instead. This trend continued until World War II when most of Ethiopia’s commercial trade stopped due to government restrictions on liquor sales

Winter Springs, Florida is a small town located in Broward County, Florida. The population was 9,041 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood metropolitan area and is adjacent to Hollywood Boulevard. In 1924, Winter Springs was founded as a small farming community by John A. Winston and his wife Jane. At that time, it was known as "The Colonization Settlement". The name change came about because Winston wanted to name the town after himself and his wife's birthplace in England (Winston having emigrated there in 1903). In 1945, Winter Springs became a ski resort when President Harry S. Truman hosted an international summit at its golf course. The resort has since been renamed "Winter Park", and it now includes more than 10 slopes including two new high-speed runs called "Golf Course Plus" and "Golf Course Zero." Winter Springs also contains one of the largest malls in Southwest Florida with over 120 shops and restaurants including Macy's department store and Sears Department Store among others as well as several large cinemas including Regal cinemas both up-market cineplexes on Sunset Boulevard near Sawgrass Road exit 395A (the north side of I-4) - home of Regal Cinemas Coral Gables for many years before they moved to their current location next door on State Road 55 just east of US 1 south of Sunrise Boulevard - where MGM Grand now stands - Regal Cinemas Hollywood (on Avenida de los Americas), Art deco movie palace Odeon Broward from 1948 until 1978; RCA(RCA) Victor Talking Machine Company building from 1951 until its demolition in 1972; Beecham Corp.(Beecham) Building from 1954 until its demolition in 1984; First National Bank building from 1955 until its demolition in 1988; Air America Airlines hangar built between 1959 and 1961 used by United Airlines Miami/Fort Lauderdale Terminal 3 during their early days as an airport serving Miami while they built their own terminal at MIA Airport which reopened with Runway 26L/27R on December 20th, 1969 [now JFK International Airport] It should be noted that although much has changed since 1924 – most notably the establishment of Holiday Inn Resort & Casino nearby – Winterspring's conspicuous tradition for ice skating still persists today!
