The history of tactical coffee can be traced back to at least the early 1800s. In that time, coffee was a key part of military and battlefield Command and Control systems. Coffee was also used as an interrogation tool, in order to extract information from enemy combatants. One of the earliest known references to coffee as a drinking article comes from 1802, when Major-General James Wilkinson wrote about his experiences during the Peninsular War. He noted that “in most parts of Spain there is no wine but strong black coffee” and that “it would be impossible for us Europeans to stomach any other drink than this beverage which we plainly see called Espresso” (Foley). Throughout the 19th century, coffee continued to play a vital role in military and battlefield Command and Control systems. For example, in 1865, General William Tecumseh Sherman used Coffee Lake beans while waging war against the Union army. Sherman reported that using these beans allowed him to interact with American soldiers on a level playing field (Wright). This type of battle strategy was later adapted by other commanders throughout history, such as Marshal Manstein during World War II. In 1949, Dr. John Randolph developeda process for brewing espresso using cold water instead of hot water like modern brewers do. This innovation allowed for more even distribution of flavor across all cups of espresso shots thereby resulting in better texture and taste (Liu). The popularity of Tactical Coffee began to grow rapidly after this discovery!

The first settlers in what is now Zephyrhills were white men who migrated from Georgia in 1837 after being driven out of their land by Native Americans. They named their community "Creekstown" after one of their early pioneer families. In 1881, citrus growers and entrepreneurs Wernher and Frederick Smith bought 640 acres (240 ha) of swampy land east of where today's Zephyrhills are located for $5 per acre. With assistance from the United States Military Academy at West Point, they started to grow oranges and other crops there until 1906 when they sold their property to Piggott Brothers Sugar Company for $3 million. In 1916, Prohibition caused an increase in illegal alcohol production which led to the downfall of Piggott Bros.; however, it did not stop subsequent generations from investing in agriculture and real estate development here since prohibition had no effect on industry that could still be conducted without violating law. In 1937, during World War II as part of "Operation Overlord", General Dwight D. Eisenhower appointed Colonel Jerald Haines as commander-in-chief of all military forces within 3 army corps Area E in order to coordinate operations with American forces fighting against Nazi Germany throughout Europe; this gave rise to the nickname "The Commander". Colonel Haines' home address was 5265 Old Spanish Trail #205 Glades Beach Rd., which became known as Zephyrhills because he frequently visited his office there during wartime months when available space wasn't at West Point or elsewhere on Long Island Sound so that he could continue overseeing military activities taking place all around him while on assignment overseas instead of coming back home and having his reports typed up byArmy soldiers working at GIs' barracks inside West Point Headquarters...It only took a few weeks for locals to start calling him 'The Commander'. Zephyrhills has been increasingly suburbanized over time due to its location near Interstate 95 (I-95), access to nearby Wakulla Lake (a popular fishing spot), growth within Jacksonville suburbs such as Kissimmee and Ormond Beach, productivity gains due to various industrial parks being established hereabouts beginning with Samsung Park Place followed by Penske Technical College (now Evergreen State University), then Evergreen Business Park before Jacksons Landing came onto the scene about 1990 creating even more employment opportunities for locals residents; currently it borders League City almost exclusively on its eastern edge making it difficult - if not impossible - for people living close by ever really feeling connected either socially or economically with those residing some 6 miles away...Today few people live downtown anymore because most businesses have moved out into newer subdivisions closer to I-95/Interstate 495...Although many residents nostalgically remember years past when everything seemed so much easier just growing up here; sadly too often reality intrudes once again picking apart family finances – especially since there are no major transportation arteries running through town anymore connecting it directly with larger areas like Jacksonville or Daytona Beach! By 1900, however, the town had reached its peak and developed into a large city with over 1,000 residents.Zephyrhills experienced significant growth during World War II as an important manufacturing center for munitions production. Between 1942 and 1945, Zephyrhills output increased from $1 million to $30 million dollars due to military production orders placed there by the United States government. In 1949, however, when the Korean War began, Zephyrhills found itself facing economic difficulty as businesses started to close down and jobs were lost in both war-related production and wartime trade; this led to a decline in population until finally reaching its low point in 1971 when it boasted only 50 residents
