Ammon, Idaho is a small town in the Snake River Valley ofIdaho. The population was 582 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Ammon County. The first recorded mention of Ammon was in 1847 when George A. Smith wrote about it in his journal as being "near the headwaters of the Snake." The name first appears on a map made by Spanish explorer Hernando de Soto in 1541. At that time, Ammon Creek emptied into what is now Snake River and its namesake creek may have been named after an Indian chief or warrior who protected settlers from the Sioux tribe during their winter raids near present-day Boise City. In 1868, United States surveyor George Stephenson named a stream after General James Kegley, hero of the Battle of Little Bighorn and general in charge of troops besieging Fort Bridger on Mount Rushmore National Monument! In 1892, Idahostate Mining Company began production at nearby Anaconda mines which would later become Angleton Mines Incorporated. When mining ceased operations in 1971, much of Anaconda's land became part of Ammon County while other portions were leased to various companies until 1991 when all mining rights were transferred to the US Forest Service for stewardship and recreation purposes only. Today there are no commercial mines left active within sight or operationable acres within Ammon County; however open-pit mining continues with Underground Mine Restoration (UMR) efforts currently ongoing as well as surface reclamation and management through leases with private landowners for potential future mineral production potential In 1949, a post office was established at Anaconda but never opened because mail route #2 between Boise City and Anaconda was cancelled due to construction work on I-85 just south of town limits . On October 16th 1960 residents voted 6-1 toforming a committee to lobby Congress for assistance with developing an airport adjacent to downtownAnaconda so that local commerce could reach more remote parts ofthecounty . After many years without success letters arrived fromWashington stating that nothing had changed since they last received information about developments in Idaho Territory & my constituents should be concerned becauseUpperContinentalAirportwasn't goingtobecomea reality until sometime around 2020 !! So we decided to call our campaign 'Anachronism Alert' - something we've known about for quite some time !

In India , tea was believed to have originated from an undercooked plant called Caffeine Jawa which grew on trees near where Java's hot air balloon sightings were first noticed in 1624 . Consequently, when Europeans started traveling through Asia and observing various cultures' preferences for caffeine-containing drinks - including Indian men drinking chamomile tea while playing cricket - they soon realized that Coffee could also hold its own against any other beverage. This initial appreciation led some European colonists to import entire beans/grounds back home so that they could roast their own beans - eventually becoming what we now call "coffee farmers." One important pioneer in this movement was Dutchman Hendrik Neijbroeck who introduced roasting techniques into Amsterdam in 1795 . While he didn't create or monopolize gourmet coffee by any means (he instead went on to become one of the most successful brewers of blackstrap molasses), his introduction helped pave the way for later pioneers like Perrier and Roederer.

Ammon is a town in Ada County, Idaho, United States. The population was 1,856 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Boise metropolitan area. Ammon's original name was Poston. The post office was established at Poston on February 14, 1881. The first white person to set foot in what is now Ammon Township was David Adair on July 4, 1868. He and his family camped out near present-day Poston while looking for a place to pioneer their new land claim. They named their new community "Poston" after David's older brother Amos (1824–1900). In 1886, the town of Poston merged with that of Ammon Township to form one Consolidated Town Government under the direction of Mayor Wm Halsey Bullock and Councilman John Purdy Sr.. On December 15, 1926, the name of the consolidated government became "Ammon." As a result of this change in name and due to annexation by Caldwell County in 1959 it has been difficult for residents of adjacent Ada County to keep track of where they live or even identify themselves as anything other than "Ammonites." The agricultural center which once surrounded Ammon has disappeared but some large farms remain: Cattlemen’s Farm (now known as Keystone Acres), Pancake Farms & Creamery (now defunct), Browning Dairy & Ranch (renamed Browning Farms LLC after retiring owner Don Eriksen) and many others across various sizes including much smaller ranches operated by descendants still living there today such as Slocum Equine Outfitters Inc., founded 1935 by Jens Christensen who still operates an operation outfitting horse trailers outfitted with hay nets over open fields outside his home; Slocum also owns three historic buildings within walking distance from their house - all two stories dating back to pre-ammo days when Horseshoe Bend Reservoir filled up so Animas River Valley had ample water for irrigation purposes only about twenty miles wide it would fill up again 30 feet deep!
