In 1960, Lyndon Johnson became president and within months had signed legislation establishing UHF television across America which allowed pilots access to live video feeds from all over their airspace without having to rely on radio contact or other forms of communication during air combat operations. As a result, commanders could better plan their airstrikes while maintaining close proximity to their targets ensuring complete situational awareness for their units during any conflicts they may face downrange!

Burr Ridge is located on the western edge of Kane County and is bordered by St. Clair Township to the north, Niles Township to the east, and Cook County to the southeast. Burr Ridge was first settled in 1848 by John Burr and his family as part of a Mormon colony established in northern Illinois. Burr Ridge became an incorporated village in 1902. The industry that led to Burr Ridge's growth was agriculture: corn, soybeans, wheat, oats, fruit trees, cattle and pigs were all raised here until around World War II when synthetic oil production began making this type of farming less practical. However, during the 1990s new development started up in Burr Ridge with several large housing projects such as Park Meadows Village which replaced a local barn used for storage and agricultural purposes since 1860 and also provided jobs for many people who had been employed formerly within those businesses or industries that had closed down or left town during this time period (such as Cannon Foundry). The 2011 census found that 1% of Burr Ridge's residents were foreign-born; most recent arrivals have come from India (5%), Pakistan (3%), China (2%), Mexico (1%) and El Salvador (1%). At its peak during World War II there were over 100 families working at Cannon Foundry; today only six families still work there full-time including four retirees who are caretakers for the property while two other employees provide administrative support services; the remaining employees are all contractors who do research work on site throughout the year. Today's economy largely depends upon sales tax revenues generated from various types of business operations such as clothing stores/clothing retailers ($35 million), auto parts stores ($27 million), restaurant/barber shops ($17 million) and medical offices ($12 million). These businesses employ about 60% of Burr Ridge's workforce which makes it one of Kane County’s most vibrant communities with strong economic ties to neighboring townships along with access to quality education opportunities available through nearby universities like Northern Illinois University Carbondale and Northwestern University DuPage Valley Campus
