In 1915, Mrs. Daugherty added a third small batch coffee house to her business: The Fenton Place Coffee House on State Street in New Haven. This establishment was also used as a social club for the residents of New Haven and offered its customers an intimate experience that is not found at most other businesses of this era. In 1924, Mr. John Haneyopened his own smallbatch coffee shop located on Dearborn Avenue in New Haven: The John Haney Coffee Shop!
