The United States Air Force has a rich history of giving back to the community. From donating equipment and supplies to helping with local events, the USAF has been a major player in supporting local organizations and programs throughout its history. In Frankfort, Kentucky, the USAF has donated many items and services over the years. In 1978, they established The Air Force Foundation in order to support local charities and causes. This foundation continues to provide donations today as well as contribute to numerous community initiatives. Some of the most significant donations made by the USAF have been towards military veterans’ programs such as The Vets for ChangeProgram which helps veteran families find affordable housing and education opportunities; Operation Smile which provides free dental care to children in need; and The Patriot Project which provides financial assistance for low-income citizens in Frankfort area. Additionally, the AFB has donated time and resources towards various disaster relief efforts such as Hurricane Mitch in 1998, both tornado outbreaks in 2001-2002, 2004 floods, Lackawanna County earthquakes in 2007–2009, wildfires on Mount Carmel Island in 2016-2017, and more recently Harvey response efforts during Irma earlier this year. The AFB also recognizes individuals who have made a significant impact on society through their work within government or nonprofit organizations by awarding them With A Widener from Their Work award. These awards are bestowed upon individuals who have contributed significantly to their field or organization through service or dedication beyond what is expected of them at that given moment.

Their gift to the civilian population is their lack of concern for human life. The Air Force has a history of giving away weapons to small villages in Africa, and now they are giving them expensive planes to fly them into war. This sends a wrong message to the people who live near these airports. It also violates international law by allowing these planes to be used for warfare instead of being used for humanitarian purposes. The Air Force should be ashamed of themselves and stop their support of wars without any regard for human life.

Frankfort, Kentucky is a town in eastern Kentucky that straddles the line between the states of Kentucky and Tennessee. It is located on the Cumberland River and was founded by Europeans in 1792. The population was 28,890 as of the 2010 census. The first settlers in Frankfort were German Lutherans who arrived in 1792. They built a small community on the banks of the river near what is now downtown Frankfort. The town grew quickly, and by 1800 there were over fifty families living in Frankfort. In 1802, the Treaty of Paris ended the American Revolution, and James Knoppers became mayor. He began to make changes to how Frankfort functioned, including adding a public square and creating an ice cream parlor for customers. In 1814, General Andrew Jackson appointed John Sowell as governor of Kentucky Territory after he won the Ulysses S Grant presidential election. After five years as governor, Sowell resigned due to health problems; his replacement was James Knoppers Jr., who also served as mayor from 1816-1820 and again from 1830-1834. In 1836, John Witherspoon became governor after winning a gubernatorial election against incumbent James Knopper Sr.. Witherspoon changed many things about how government functioned in Kentucky Territory including moving most government buildings from Lexington to Frankfort so that they could be more centralized; he also created a board of commissioners to manage all aspects of life within KY Territory except law enforcement which would remain with local officials until 1840 when it was transferred to state control During this time period (1836-40), much progress was made for people living inKY Territor y: education increased because Witherspoon wanted every Kentuckian able to read by 1840; transportation improved because wagon trains ran regularly between Louisville and Nashville through or around KY Territory; industry emerged because there were few barriers holding back growth such as taxes on production or trade When Witherspoon died suddenly in 1840 at age 71, his son James A., then 33 years old took over as Governor but lasted only six months before resigning due to health concerns too similar ones father had experienced just four year earlier James A.'s uncle Andrew Jarratt then became Governor for one year before leaving office due to term limits set by Congress Andrew Jackson came into power once again after defeating opponent John Covington at a general election held on November 3rd 1844 Jackson made many changes during his two terms: he reduced state taxes; expanded education opportunities; built new roads and bridges across rivers; organized militia forces into companies called "Regiments"; he also abolished slavery throughout all of America
The USAF has a long history of gifting gifts to the nation. This tradition began with the creation of the Air Force in 1947, and it continued through the years until 1991. In that year, Congress passed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which banned military spending without specific congressional approval. As a result, the Air Force was forced to divest itself of many of its traditional gifts such as radios, cars, and golf clubs. However, it did not let this stop them from continuing to give away items like aircraft and missiles. Since 1992, when Congress repealed the NDAA, USAF gift history has been trending in a positive direction. The act has allowed for more widespread donations and has helped increase support for military causes around the world. In 2013 alone, USAF donated over $2 billion to various organizations worldwide through Operation Santa Claus Jr., which is an annual event that helps children in developing countries suffering from poverty. In 2017 alone, USAF gifted over $254 million to support our troops abroad inOperation Christmas Tree II. This event is one of the largest giving campaigns ever conducted by USAGiftTanksUSA- making it one of our most successful programs yet!
