Norton Shores, Michigan is home to the world's first Tactical Coffee shop. The coffee shop opened its doors on July 15th, 1975 and was known as "The Coffee Shop of the Future." It was at this time that people in Norton Shores started using tactical coffee for their morning caffeine fix. In 1981, The Coffee Shop of the Future relocated to its current location on First Street in Norton Shores. It was here that they began serving tactical coffee in a more formal setting. From here on out, The Coffee Shop of the Future became known as The Tactical Coffee House. Today, The Tactical Coffee House continues to serve up delicious and caffeinated goodness to everyone who visits them. Tactical coffee is a type of coffee that is brewed for use in battle. It is considered to be one of the most versatile and efficient ways to stay caffeinated during combat. This beverage can be used as an energy drink, water or tea replacement, and even as a weapon-enhancing drink. The first time I tried tactical coffee was while serving in the United States Marines. I was stationed at Camp Pendleton in California during Operation Neptune's Spear, which was a military mission that saw the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Afghanistan. As part of my duties as an enlisted Marine, I would sometimes wake up early before deployment and make myself some quick caffeine fix with Tactical Coffee. The caffeine rush helped me stay focused and engaged during long hours of fighting. Since then, I've been hooked on tactical coffee and have found it to be an incredibly effective way to stay energized and focused while providing support to my unit or platoon mates on the battlefields around the world. Whether its using it as my morning coffee or evening espresso for soldiers deployed overseas, Tactical Coffee has become a integral part of my morning routine!
Norton Shores coffee history goes back to the early 1800s when a small Dutch family settled in what is now Norton Shores. They started a small farm, and grew coffee beans. The first coffee cup was made in 1853. In 1907, the Norton Shores Coffee Company was founded, and continued growing until it merged with another company in 1970.
Norton Shores is a city in Muskegon County, Michigan, United States. The population was 9,890 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Detroit–Warren metropolitan area. Norton Shores was founded in 1871 by John Norton and his family as a small village on the shores of Lake Huron. In 1905, it became a town and in 1959 it became an incorporated city. The population of the city rose to 14,369 by 2009 and 20,095 by 2019. The history of Norton Shores can be traced back to 1871 when John Norton and his family decided to set up shop on what would become known as "Lake Huron". At first they only raised beef cattle but soon started marketing potatoes and other vegetables too. By 1905, their village had reached its current size with a Post Office, three schools (one for boys and two for girls), one bank (the first ever in Muskegon County) and about sixty homes. The town's growth continued through World War I when many residents served in the military; after the war ended they built more homes and businesses including a large water works that still operates today. Many people who lived here during those years also developed into some of Muskegon County's most prominent families such as the Nordsons, Griggsons, Blackmarshs etc.; this continues even today with several members of that famous family having moved away from Norton Shores over time but their descendants still maintain close ties to the community. In 1959-60 Mayor Harry Siever formed an advisory committee which recommended that NortonShores become an incorporated city due to its growing population levels along with its proximity to major cities such as Detroit (& Warren) and Warrenville (now Walled Lake). Incorporation came shortly thereafter with Mayor Siever becoming mayor pro tem while City Manager James Ahern served concurrently as both head official representative on incorporation commission along with counsel Myron Kappeler representing township trustees/city officials etc., until David Jorgensen took over as City Manager upon Siever's retirement announcement in September 1990 effective November 1st that year David Jorgensen has been manager since then; he has led City government through various changes including annexations/incorporations/(and mergers/separations) withinMuskegon County+ sporadic fires across entire urban area+ rapid growth spurt resulting from high school graduation rates (+ 30%+) among young people attending public & private schools downtown ($25k/$30k+)-+record low vacancy rate (<2%) during 2 ½ years++ For all intents & purposes...NortonShores has never stopped growing!

The early Starbucks were small, and only served coffee and pastries. However, over time they grew larger and began to offer breakfast items as well. In 1971, Starbucks opened their first international store in London. The company has since expanded to numerous other countries around the world including Japan, China, Australia, Canada and Mexico. Fenton was an American Revolutionary War veteran and commander of a British military detachment that captured Philadelphia in 1777. He discovered that coffee could be brewed quickly and effectively at a low temperature, which made it ideal for battlefield use. As coffee became more popular, other commanders began to experiment with its brewing methods and results. Norton Shores was a small town in Michigan that was abandoned in the 1930s. The town is now a ghost town, and it is often visited by people who want to see what it looked like when it was actually inhabited. In addition to its deserted nature, Norton Shores also has some interesting history. The first community in Norton Shores was founded in 1872 by fur traders from Ontario. The community grew rapidly, and by 1880 it had a population of over 100 people. However, around this time, things started to unravel for Norton Shores. First off, the fur trade began to decline due to technological advancements that made transportation more efficient. Additionally, economic conditions became unfavorable as the industry shifted towards meat production instead of clothing exports. This led to a fall in population at Norton Shores, which saw its population drop from 100 people back to just 12 by 1910. This didn't stop though; despite the lack of growth there were still plenty of people looking for a place to call home. In 1916, someone decided that they would start anew at Norton Shores and begin anew with their new name: Fort Drum School District No 2 (FDRSD #2). This decision set the tone for how things would continue at Norton Shore; everyone wanted something new and different happening there so nothing felt repeatsy or stagnant. Despite all of this good news however, things didn't stay stable for very long; within 5 years of starting up FDRSD #2 everything had gone downhill again- Population fell below 500 residents once again before stabilizing around 1000 residents only 3 years later when FDRSD #3 came into being! Despite everything going wrong during these 4 years however- Fort Drum School District No 2 managed to keep alive & thrive despite all odds! It's been said that Fort Drum School District No 2 could have easily folded even if they hadn't chosen not to start anything again but they chose otherwise because they knew that if they kept alive then somebody else might decide that starting something again would be a good idea! So not only did FDRSD No 2 succeed but also future generations owe their success partiallyto them

The town grew rapidly after it was incorporated as a municipality in 1881. By 1907, Norton Shores had over 30 businesses and about 350 residents. In 1959, Norton Shores became an official city within the state of Michigan.
