As these discoveries were made, European traders began importing more and more maga coffee into their markets. By 1830, nearly every country in South America had access to this unique product. Eventually, maga coffee found its way into North America as well as Europe through various trade routes. In 1856, Dutch traders landed on Philippine shores looking for gold and silver veins but didn’t find any significant quantities of either minerals or tea until they discovered what they thought wasmagagoean tea bushes near Cebu City (then part of the United States). After tasting this unusual beverage for the first time, they realized it must be related to their now defunct rivals – Java – and placed orders for large quantities of it! In 1899–1900 Japanese businessmen also visited the Philippines searching for resources but did not find much worth exploring until they encountered some green bushes growing near Manila Bay where they tasted some extraordinary green beans which turned out to bemagagoean beans! From then onforth Japan became one major importer of Maga Coffee!
