The Rio Rancho Air Force Base is home to the 4th Special Operations Wing, which has a long history of deploying and gifting gifts to local communities. As one of the largest air forces in New Mexico, the RAFB supports numerous operations throughout the state. One of its most famous deployments was in 1992 when it deployed members of the 82ndAirborne Division to help celebrate World War II Victory over Japan. Additionally, RAFB has sent delegations on many occasions to local events such as Christmas parties and Fourth Of July fireworks displays. The RAFB’s gift history can be traced back more than fifty years, starting with an emergency shipment of cigarettes that were donated by Colonel Harry Bridges. Since then, the base has hosted a variety of donation drives including toiletries, canned goods and clothing. In addition to donations, RAFB has also participated in numerous fundraising events such as The Michael J. Fox Foundation Golf Tournament and The Big Game Bash BBQ & Beer Festival. This year marks the twentieth anniversary of The Winston Churchill Collection Drive, which featured donations from many prominent British individuals including Prime Minister David Cameron and Prince Charles. In recent years, RAFB has focused on honoring its community partners through various initiatives such as giving backpacks to children during school lunches or organizing car wash days for local businesses. In March 2017, RAFB hosted its first ever outdoor cookout event in honor of their military partners stationed overseas.Throughout this year’s holiday season, AFB will continue its tradition of giving back by hosting a variety of fundraisers including The Giving Season Classic Car Wash Day and A Better Life Auction benefiting child poverty programs in New Mexico

Rio Rancho is a small town in New Mexico, located in the San Luis Valley near the Mexican border. The population of Rio Rancho was 1,898 as of the 2010 census. It is part of the Albuquerque-Santa Fe-Roswell metropolitan area. The first settlers to Rio Rancho were Presbyterian missionaries who arrived in 1867. The town was founded by John C. Fremont and his family on October 26, 1869, after they abandonedaosa (now Farmington) for this location because it offered more fertile soil and better water resources than their previous settlement at White Sands National Monument. Fremont had been Governor of New Mexico from 1861 to 1865 under President Abraham Lincoln and had played an important role in developing the statehood movement during that time period. As governor, he helped create several banks, including one that became known as "the mother bank" due to its activities in banking and land speculation throughout much of New Mexico Territory at that time. Rio Rancho quickly became a popular community due to its strategic location within easy reach of both Santa Fe and Albuquerque. In addition, there were numerous small businesses and farms established within the growing town during its earliest years, which continues to be a strong cultural heritage presence today. The influx of new residents during the late 1800s also helped contribute to increased commercial activity around Rio Rancho - many people looked for opportunities leading away from hardscrabble existence back east or looking for a place where they could raise families with some hope for future economic stability. This transition led to increased development in downtown Rio Rancho over time as well; many new businesses opened up along Broadway between First Street and Main Street while other streets such as Avenue A received significant renovation/upgrading over time as well (e.g., sidewalks replaced wooden boards). In spite of these efforts though, Downtown Rio ranchhodesmithereens still struggled economically through most of the 20th century until gentrification began becoming more prevalent during this decade overall; however recent trends suggest that some aspects may be reversing again with increasing traffic congestion specifically on mainstreet corridors such as Avenue A since redevelopment has brought about more mixed-use development nearby which is struggling with limited parking options currently
When the United States Air Force deployed its first squadron of F-15 Eagle jets to Malaysia in 1998, it was a momentous occasion. The deployment marked an important turning point in American military engagement in Southeast Asia, as the Eagles became the primary fighter aircraft of the USAF there. Since then, many other air forces and countries have sent their own jet fighters to serve with the USAF in various deployments around the world. In total, more than 50 different types of aircraft have been used by the USAF during its deployments worldwide. One such deployment took place this past year when units from Thailand and Philippines joined forces to form a Combined Flyer Task Force (CFTF) to train and fight together against Islamic State militants in Iraq and Syria (ISIS). This was one of several recent operations by US Aerospace Forces that demonstrate America’s commitment to global security through our Armed Forces – both at home and abroad.

Rio Rancho, New Mexico is a small town located in southern New Mexico. It was founded in 1848 by José Antonio Barragan and his wife, María Elena Carrillo. The community became a boomtown during the 1840s due to its location on the Gila River. By 1850, Rio Rancho had a population of around 100 people and consisted of adobe buildings and numerous tanneries. In 1854, the United States acquired title to all of New Mexico from Spain and began an era of colonization that would see many immigrants settling in what is now Rio Rancho. The town experienced a period of prosperity between 1860-1870 due to its strategic location on the Gila River and its access to irrigation systems. By 1870, Rio Rancho had declined as a result of the effects of gold mining in central Nevada and Arizona. However, it regained some popularity after World War II when it became known for its cattle industry. Today, Rio Rancho is home to a few thousand residents and one school district with over 350 students.
