Lake Grove, New York is a small town located in Westchester County, New York. It is known for its coffee and chocolate businesses. The first coffee house in Lake Grove was built in 1892 by J.H. Fenton and his wife Gertrude. In 1908, the Fentons opened an espresso shop called La Caffè della Porta Nuova which served coffee until 1971 when it closed down due to health concerns about the Cafè's lead service line. The next largest coffee house in Lake Grove was the Dutch Bros Coffee House which operated from 1915-1978. The Dutch Bros also served hot cocoa and pastries from their store on Main Street until 1978 when they converted to a gas station/convenience store called the Dutch Bros Convenience Store on Route 5 within the town limits of Lake Grove. In 1998, Pizzeria Uno opened in Lake Grove and became one of the earliest pizza places in upstate New York serving espresso as well as pizzas, calzones, pastas, sandwiches and salads made with local produce within walking distance of most residents’ homes or businesses. In 2006, they bought out their competition at Dutch Bros Convenience Store and reopened as Pizzeria Uno II with expanded menu items including gourmet pizzas not available atDutch Bros before In 2018, Italian restaurant Ristorante Casa di Bottega opened in downtown Lake Grove serving pasta dishes such as lasagna and carbonara along with craft beers from around Manhattan while still open for business 24/7

Lake Grove is a town in Ulster County, New York, United States. The population was 2,291 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Buffalo-Niagara Falls metropolitan area. The first Europeans to visit Lake Grove were French traders and missionaries in 1724. The first permanent settler was Nicholas Colgan, who built a cabin on the north side of the lake in 1727. By 1750, about 70 people lived in what is now Lake Grove; most came from upstate New York and Erie County. In 1814, the United States government bought much of what is now Niagara County from Native Americans for $3 million. In 1821 Congress passed an act providing for land grants to settlers in western Niagara County (including Lake Grove). These grants comprised over half of all Indian reservations west of the Appalachian Mountains. On July 12, 1825, President James Kents ordered federal troops under General John Armstrong to burn down every barn and silo in eastern Ontario as part of a larger effort to remove all Indians from that region south of Niagara Falls; this operation was known as "Armstrong's Raid". In 1830–1831 600+ farmers went against orders by local authorities and took over 4500 acres (1 km²) of forest near present-day downtown Lake Grove; they were later joined by other farmers who banded together to resist government orders that they clear land for crops or build homes. This resistance helped precipitate America's westward expansion during the 1830s and 1840s; today much of what was once rural farmland around downtown has been developed into city neighborhoods like Buffalo-Niagara Falls or Rochester Hills-Dearborn Heights along with smaller towns such as Allentown and Orchard Park nearby

This primitive method of production led to some unique flavors and a higher quality product than what was available from larger, more established roasters.
Lake Grove is a village in Herkimer County, New York, United States. The population was 1,651 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Utica–Rome, NY Metropolitan Statistical Area. The name "Lake Grove" may have been derived from one of several grants given to the village by President James K. Polk in 1868 as part of his efforts to promote new growth in southwestern New York after years of failed development around Rome and Utica. The grant called for the donation of a tract of land lying between Rome Road (now Fulton Street) and State Highway 9 south of Interstate 84; this parcel became known as Township 7 north of town line (now downstream portions of Main Street). Settlement began on the now-demolished farmsteads around what is now Third Avenue in 1876 and within two years had erected five plazas or shelters: one on each side of the newly christened creek that ran through town. In 1886, when Lake Grove became a city, its first mayor was William Noyes and its first councilwoman was Fannie Mae Kettering. In 1893, it incorporated as a village with a Mayor Jelliney Ladd as its first official leader; however, she resigned just four months later due to ill health. In 1895-96 another Mayor Charles Bickford served concurrent terms before being succeeded by Wm Halsey Dodge; Dodge also resigned shortly afterwards due to illness which would ultimately kill him at age 54 after many years service to his beloved community. On October 6th 1901 voters approved an election for Village President which resulted in Abram Cephus taking office for three year term beginning November 15th 1901 until he was replaced by Milt Davenport effective January 1st 1902; during Davenport's term there were only two Councilman - John Ahern and Harry Willard - while all other municipal duties were handled by either First Deputy Mayor George Tidd or Treasurer/ Tax Collector Cephus himself under direction from Village Clerk Julius Wexler (later Town Selectman). Davenport's successor Abel Payson agreed to serve only one year before stepping down pending confirmation from the Board Of Elections that he too would be retiring soon after becoming aware that he had prostate cancer which would require treatment near Niagara Falls, New York until his death on May 4th 1903 at age 53 due largely to complications from surgery performed there more than 20 years earlier while serving as captain with Company E 133rd Rifles fighting in Mexico City during Operation Northwoods including participation in building both Chapultepec Castle walls and providing security for Ulysses S Grant's inauguration ceremonies less than two weeks later on November 25th 1867 as Chief Justice Of The United States Supreme Court Election results shown below reflect total number registered electors rather than number actually voting because some residents who did not vote could be counted according to their residence if they resided within 100 miles of Utica-Rome either directly or indirectly via express mail ballot notification sent home from township clerk
