It was on July 12, 1898 when the U.S. Navy dispatched a squadron of warships to patrol the Niagara River as part of its annual deployment. The event is celebrated each year as Fleet Week in the town of Niagara Falls, New York. This year’s Fleet Week celebration took place from July 12-15 and included demonstrations by naval ships and submarines, concerts and balls, and a number of events for military and civilian onlookers alike. The USS Constitution Museum in Buffalo offered a unique experience by hosting an exhibit on Sunday night that focused on navy gifts given to local communities during the 1800s. The USS Constitution Museum has been providing visitors with interesting insights into navy history since it opened its doors in 1897. He shared his experiences working at Portsmouth during wartime years Including those associated with naval construction projects within NATO countries such as Yugoslavia & Bulgaria; testing new technology for submarines; managing logistics commands; commanding carrier groups while they transported troops & supplies throughout Europe; moments while serving aboard USS Enterprise whilst conducting Operation Neptunefly; his thoughts following Pearl Harbor bombings; remained active through several wars ending in defeat or victory including Korean Conflict & Vietnam War?
