Maga Coffee is a coffee house that has been in business since 1922. Maga Coffee was originally founded by Mrs. Anna Marie Smith and her husband, Harry Smith. The first location was on Main Street in Westbury, New York. Maga Coffee soon became well-known for its quality and unique styles of coffee. The popularity of maga coffee continued to grow throughout the years and it eventually became one of the most popular coffee shops in town. In 2001, Harry Smith passed away, but his wife, Anna Marie continued to operate the shop until her death in 2009. After AnnaMarie's death, the shop was taken over by her son, Cody Smith. CodySmith continues to run the store as an independant business today with help from his wife Karen and two daughters, Lydia and Emily. Today, maga coffee is still a popular choice for those looking for a delicious cup of morning caffeine. Westbury is a town in Ulster County, New York, United States. The population was 7,868 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Buffalo-Niagara Falls, NY Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first European settlement in what is now Westbury was by Dutch colonists in 1624. The town was established and named for Mount Vail (now Webster), located north of the village on Canandaigua Lake. In 1785, Westbury became an incorporated village. On May 12, 1801, it attained city status under the name of Buffalo while still a rural village. On December 15th of that year it annexed the villages of Canandaigua and East Aurora which had been part of Niagara Township since 1784. In 1825, Buffalo annexed Westbury to its city limits and renamed it after Erie Canal founder Nicholas Biddle Gouverneur Westcott. Erie Canal construction had begun in 1823 and continued until 1830; however, only a small portion of westchester county was included within Buffalo's boundaries at this time due to lack of land available for development dragooning canals could not be built through randomized lots as planned by developers; instead they were confined to main streets or upriver intersections with rivers where there would be plenty of water current but no potential buildings or people

Westbury is a town in Sullivan County, New York, United States. The population was 1,848 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Utica–Rome, NY Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first permanent white inhabitants of Westbury were Dutch settlers who arrived in 1624 and 1627. A post office was established in 1709, and by 1784 there were thirteen buildings in the town. In 1814, as a result of the Kansas-Nebraska Act, which repealed the Missouri Compromise thus opening up new areas for settlement in eastern New York State, Westbury voted to secede from Sullivan County and form its own government. The first mayor was George Washington Cary (1814-1828). In 1836, when western Sullivan County was split off from eastern Ontario County to form Dutchess County, Westbury became one of the towns within that county. On May 12th of that year it had a population of 1,500 residents and on October 14th it had 2 thousand residents; both numbers would rise to 4 thousand by 1860 due to waves of immigration from Germany and Ireland during that decade: more than half of all residents were Italians by 1850. By 1880 about 60% of village citizens worked outside the rural hamlet (see "Population growth"). Italian immigrants built churches and schools quickly becoming symbols of community identity First Congregational Church (now St John's Evangelist) was dedicated on December 15th 1882 with Mrs Rice as organist/ choirmaster after $4000 raised by parishioners; dedication plaque reads “ Dedicated To Our Lady Of Good Health Who Gave us Birthright To This Parish” The Great Depression hit hard in this period with many villagers working long hours for low pay at local mills or factories; however even during tough times people kept their traditions alive such as giving food away atChristmas or throwing a Yule log dinner party for all their friends across village boundaries following World War II most villagers returned home although some stayed until they died while others took advantage of opportunities available since statehood including welfare programs which began immediately after war ended . After statehood there were efforts made to attract businesses but many decided against moving because they felt they could offer better wages than what existed within their old companies back east whereas westchester lacked much natural resources so attracting business proved difficult especially given that prices for goods items like gasoline had quadrupled since original establishment
The town of Westbury, New York was settled in 1795 by the Dutch. It was named for a small stream that ran through the community. The first settler in Westbury was Abraham de Wilde, who arrived in 1795. The town grew rapidly during the 18th century and by 1800 it had a population of 350 people. In 1814, Westbury became part of the District of Clinton and remained so until 1958 when it became part of the newly created Town of Westbury-on-Hudson.
