The Coast Guard is a national service that provides law enforcement and emergency support to the local community. The Coast Guard was established in 1915 as a volunteer organization. In 1952, the Coast Guard became an independent agency with its own budget and staff. The Coast Guard operates over 2,000 miles of coastline and has jurisdiction over 41 states and Puerto Rico. The Coast Guard has been responsible for saving lives on the United States’ coasts since 1915. One of the most famous incidents occurred when USS Constitution was sunk by Confederate torpedoes at Hampton Roads, Virginia on April 12, 1813. On December 15, 1941, Japan attacked Pearl Harbor resulting in the loss of many American sailors including Rear Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto who later became known as “the Emperor’s Navy Commander-in-Chief”. Post-9/11 America has seen an increase in security threats such as piracy, terrorism and cybercrime which have required increased emphasis on homeland security across all branches of government. This increase in maritime activity requires a coordinated effort from multiple agencies within our nation’s criminal justice system including law enforcement, homeland security and counterterrorism forces. One important role of the Coast guard is protection of our coastal communities from danger both during peacetime (such as against possible terrorist attacks) and during times of emergency (such as when weather conditions demand]. As a result of this change in government structure, NASA became responsible for all aspects of space exploration and therefore began investing in science fiction-themed gifts such as space suits and helmets. This decade also saw some interesting Coast Guard gifts include a three-meter autonomous lifeboat called THE LIFEBOAT 3M and a small helicopter called HELIOSAVE HC-1SV. Fayetteville, North Carolina is a city in and the county seat of Henderson County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 40,824 at the 2010 census. Fayetteville is located on the Cumberland River at the confluence of the rivers Broad and Catawba. It has been called "the cultural and commercial center of central Tennessee" for its role in cotton culture and as a center for education. In 1814, General Andrew Jackson appointed Colonel James Gourley as commander of United States Forces in western Tennessee to suppress Native American resistance to Ulysses S. Grant's victory over them in what is known as the Battle of Tellico Plains. At Gourley's request, Fayetteville became his military headquarters. Fayetteville was founded by John Baptist Farnam on November 10, 1796 as a trading post on Catawba Creek between Henderson County and Transylvania County. He named it honor to George Washington who had visited him while he served as governor of Virginia (1789-1793). Farnam had traveled down Catawba Creek when he was surveyor general for British troops during America's War for Independence (1812-1815). After serving under General Stonewall Jackson in the Confederate army during their unsuccessful attempt to retake Chattanooga from Union forces in 1863, Farnam returned home to start a new business enterprise there that soon became successful: Fayetteviland Farms Incorporated (later known as First National Bank & Trust Company). In 1868, after several years' effort by local citizens through various organizations including the Ladies Auxiliary for Religious Education (LARE), Fayetteville become an open-air educational institution with an initial enrollment of forty students from twelve families within one hundred feet of where classes were held outdoors under sky blue skies – considerably more than any other school then existing in centralTennessee. From 1830 until its closure following World War II it offered evening classes only; however during that time adult male enrollment ranged from seventythree to one hundred fifty students per session with about sixty percent taking evening courses combined with twenty hours’ worth of instruction each week outside lessons inside buildings! In 1892–93 two thousand five hundred African Americans working class men were brought into town by railroads operated by Northern capitalists seeking cheap labor on plantations near Mobile Bayou where they farmed cotton until 1865 when Reconstruction ended following ARA’s attack against Fort Sumter which led to nationwide civil rights turmoil culminating in President Abraham Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation six months later which abolished slavery throughout all Southern states except Kentucky and West Virginia! The freedmen began moving back into rural areas east or west TN., but some continued living and workinginFayetteville until 1958 when black Chicagoans moved there also seeking jobs doing white people's work! Although many black northerners now liveinFayetteville they continue calling it their "home." Many items associated with traditional southern cuisine such as cornbread pudding are still made here today especially Higgins potatoes used generallyfor mashed potatoes or gravy etc.. Today most businesses here are agricultural related suchas farms raising chickens/hamsters/frogs/gazelles(breeding purposes only) trout fishing pondsimporting fresh water plants(cottonseed oil,,palm oil,,jojo extract)etc.. In 1900 Clarence King became first African American MayorofFayetteville after winning election unopposed!. He held office until his death due to leukemia on October 25th 1912 aged 50 years old!.
