The Mount Holly Signal Company was a military intelligence organization in the United States during World War I. It was organized on October 15, 1917 as the Mount Holly Signal Company A (MOSA) by Major General John J. Pershing, commander of American Forces in Europe. The armory and barracks at 4100 Patterson Avenue were built especially for the company, and it began operations on November 1, 1917. On December 14, 1917, MOSA became part of the New York Army National Guard as the Mount Holly Signal Company B (MOSB). The unit served with distinction until its disbandment in 1919.

In 1916, North Carolina became one of eighteen states that joined the United States because of World War I when Mr. Lincoln issued the executive order creating national prohibition laws which were later repealed by Franklin D Roosevelt in 1933 under his New Deal programs - this event also helped spur economic development throughout much of rural America during this time period as Prohibition effectively ended for good with many alcohol companies folding or changing their operations due to government regulation rather than consumer demand - today some very vintage methods are still being used illegally to produce hard liquor such as Old Overholt bourbon which has been popular among social conservatives for over two hundred years now! The first European to see Mount Holly was John James Audubon in 1827 while sketching birds on his way from Wilmington to Raleigh. In 1892, Mount Holly became part of Alamance County and was incorporated as a city. The town's history can be traced back to 1754 when Benjamin Franklin founded what is now known as "Franklin's Colony" in present-day Hillsborough County after moving from Philadelphia with his family. Benjamin Franklin had been elected President of the First Continental Congress and he wanted to establish a government that could defend itself against attack by the French and Spanish fleets off the coast of North Carolina. In 1754, some settlers moved into present-day Mount Holly from other parts of Alamance County because they were tired of living around Morganton and its floods every year. By early 1775, most of those living in present-day Mount Holly had left for safety reasons due to British raids and Indian captivity raids throughout much of central North Carolina during this time period In 1787, William Tryon became Governor of Revolutionary War-era NC after winning election as president George Washington's Vice Presidential running mate over James Kenedy Jr., who would later become governor under George Washington's successor John Adams. Tryon set up court martial trials for soldiers captured during the Revolution that resulted in many death sentences being commuted or reduced to life imprisonment by General Edmund Randolph because he felt it would be more humane than execution given their circumstances at the time including disease and malnutrition among other factors In 1812, two years after becoming an independent country following independence from Great Britain (the United States), North Carolina granted exclusive hunting rights to white men within its borders on behalf of Native Americans who also had primitive hunting techniques which resulted in many animal deaths due to illness or injury before ever catching anything big enough to eat Some people believe that without white men coming into this area there may not have been any deer or turkey populations today because those animals are protected under National Park Service laws
