These deployments have included: air force personnel during WWII; marines during the Korean War; Army troops during Vietnam; Coast Guard membersduring Hurricane Katrina; Special Forces during Operation Neptune's Spear; lndian National Security Guardsduring various earthquakes throughout India; Danish Armed Forces troops deployed with NATO contingents within NORAD airspace throughout 2008-2009; Pakistani Rangers serving alongside American Soldiers stationed along our southern border...the list goes on! The most recent deployment by law enforcement is that of officers from Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department who will be deployed next month to work with US Marshals Service counterparts in Phoenix AZ on special task operations related to Mexican cartel activity

Lawton is a city in Muskogee County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 41,821 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Muskogee County. Lawton is located on the Arkansas River and is bordered by Tulsa to the east and south, McCook to the north, and Ponca City to the west. The first permanent settler in Lawton was Edwin Sims in 1881. In 1907, Alfred Prentiss opened a store near present day Court Square in Lawton with his son Artie as manager. After World War I ended, many farmers left for lack of new land to farm and returned home after the war; this created an opportunity for Prentiss to open a grocery store and began developing what would become known as downtown Lawton. In 1927 Arthur Hogue started construction of what would become Central High School which seated 575 students in classrooms, music rooms and a gymnasium/hallway. Construction began on McClennan Elementary School in 1929 which seated 85 students; it was completed that year and became Lawton's only high school enrolling students from kindergarten through 12th grade untilCENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL WAS CONSTRUCTED IN THE 1970S AND NOW SENDS STUDENTS TO LAWTON IN ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOLS In 1965 Republic Services Company (RS) opened its first convenience store in town named The G-Men which remains one of today's most popular retail destinations within town limits today . RS also operates law enforcement services out of their facility across from Central High School during normal business hours. The post office operated out of a building on Main Street from 1907 until it closed operations in 1951 . It reopened under new management as The Post Office Annex which continued serving customers until it closed again in 1980 . From 1946 until 1984 there was also an insurance company incorporated called Guaranty National Insurance who leased space inside The G-Men convenient for customers when they had some type of emergency or needed help with their insurance needs On November 1st 1906 Official Order No 9 issued by Colonel J C Ewing stated "all men must dress alike" at all public meetings throughout Oklahoma so much has changed since then...the order being designed as a way to bring order into chaotic times following World War I ... Laws passed later that year making Smoking Illegal inside Public Buildings including schools...and businesses were put into effect.......This prohibition led eventually to prohibition laws being passed statewide ......It was not until 1935 when General Assembly Passed Bill repealing provisions ol earlier orders .... lawrence Boman became Mayor later that year becoming one of only two openly gay mayors nationwide ....Following Prohibition repeal several small businesses were opened up but most notably Anheuser Busch purchased Oklahoma State Brewing Company & merged it with their main brewing plant producing Budweiser products starting playin g here n 1928

Lawton, Oklahoma is a small town in Comanche County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 1,883 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Tulsa metropolitan area. The town was founded by settlers from Illinois in 1887. Lawton was named for General John A. Lawton who served as military governor of Indian Territory from 1861 to 1865 and later became Commissioner of Indian Affairs. The first store in Lawton opened on October 4, 1887 and sold goods such as flour, beans, soap, salt and other supplies to the local Indians. The business grew quickly and by 1890 there were six stores in town providing services to the surrounding area. In 1915 a post office was established at Lawton with Wm Henson as agent. By 1912 there were 11 businesses in town with a total payroll of $622
