The first coffee beans were picked in the forest of Sherwood, Oregon on January 1, 1876. The name "Sherwood Coffee" was given to this location by early pioneers who found the land and knew the quality of the coffee trees. The first espresso beans roasted at this location were called "Oregon One" and they remain some of the most famous and well-known artisan coffees today. The first roasting plant in Sherwood was built in 1907 by Joe's Coffee Roasters. In 1967, Bob's Coffee began production here as part of its acquisition by J.B. Holland & Sons Limited. In 1995, Koffee Klatch opened its doors in downtown Sherwood with their own small roastery/espresso shop right next door to Joe's original building. Today, all three businesses are still operational and continue to produce delicious artisan coffees under one roof!

As an artisan coffee brand, J.B. Harrison has been in business for over 10 years and has a wide variety of different roasted beans to choose from. They roast their own beans in-house using the best methods possible, including cold pressing and rotary roasting. In addition to their own flavorings and processes, they also use whole bean ingredients from around the world when possible. This allows them to create unique flavors that are not found at other coffee stores. Their coffee is often referred to as smooth with a slightly bitter finish, which is due to the unique roasting process and all of the ingredients used in their cups.

In Sherwood, Oregon, there are a number of coffee shops that have been making and selling artisanal coffee for over thirty years. Some of the earliest businesses in this area were The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, which opened in 1976, and The Roastery at 5th and Taylor Streets, which opened in 1984. In 2002, The Daily Grind Coffee was founded in Sherwood by four local businessmen. Over the years, other businesses have joined the ranks of The Daily Grind Coffee—including Sweetwater Coffee (2005), Four Barrel Coffee (2007), and Heart City Roasters (2009).

Sherwood is a small town in Clackamas County, Oregon, United States. The population was 553 at the 2010 census. It is located in the foothills of the mountains that form the eastern edge of the Willamette Valley. The first permanent settler in Sherwood was James Irvine on January 6, 1887. He and his family were pioneers who left Ireland for Oregon with only a bag of potatoes and some clothes. They built their cabin near what is now Depot Road (now Sherman Ave.). In 1902, J.W. Fowler opened a general store here which became known as "Fowler's". Mr. Fowler also operated a sawmill and gristmill until he retired in 1951. In 1955, the town installed its first water pump when ranchers installed a well to provide water for their cows and other livestock. According to local legend, one day during prohibition profits from selling liquor went up 50%. A group of men pooled their money and bought an old booze-filled wagon and set out to sell it door-to-door throughout Oregon but they never succeeded because prohibition ended two years later without any notice to anyone in Sherwood! A few years ago people started building new homes around town so there are more businesses now than ever before! Christmas shopping is always popular around here too!

As coffee beans are roasted, they develop a unique flavor profile. The earliest coffee beans were grown in the Andes Mountains in South America. These beans were processed with a high level of sun and heat to extract the most flavors from the bean. Roasted at an altitude of 3,000 meters, these Beans had a complex flavor that was not easily replicated by other roasters. In the early 1800s, coffee began to be exported from Brazil to Europe and North America. This new export market brought different Methods of Roasting which resulted in a morerahimetic roast style. As coffee became more popular throughout these regions, small shops started to open up and sell fresh roasted beans direct to consumers. These independent roasters would then package their beans and distribute them through local distributors who would then resell them back to consumers. Over time, artisanal coffees began being produced in smaller batches by individual roasters within specific regions or countries. This allowed for each producer to focus on their own particular characteristics and flavors which gave rise to some of the world’s most interesting and well-known coffees such as Papua New Guinea’s Blue Bottle Coffee, Ecuador’s encyclopedic El Oro National Coffee Reserve, Java’s Bali Tea & Cigars COFFEE House and Sumatra's Garra Jawa Coffee plantations). Today, artisanal coffee is still enjoyed around the world for its unique flavor profiles and beautiful packaging!

The community was founded by George Washington Sherwood in 1887, and it grew rapidly due to its location at the mouth of the Willamette River. In 1907, Sherwood became the first city in Oregon to be incorporated and it quickly achieved a reputation as a center of commerce and industry. By 1920, Sherwood had become one of the most prosperous cities in Oregon. However, some residents of Sherwood were unhappy with their growing city government and they unsuccessfully sought to secede from Portland in 1922. This event is often cited as one of the primary reasons that Portland became stronger economically after World War II.

Sherwood was a small town in Oregon, located on the banks of the Willamette River. The town was founded by Captain George Sherwood and his family in 1876. The first store in Sherwood was built by Captain Sherwood and his wife, Martha. The first school in Sherwood was built by Mrs. Sherwood and Mr. Heckerly. In 1892, the community had a post office, a bank, a grocery store, and two churches. The population of Sherwood declined after World War II because of the loss of jobs in the surrounding agricultural towns.
