From there on out, Jacques Lecoq (the founder's son) continued fatherhood duties while Hugo took over operational responsibilities at The Cafe du Monde until he passed away in 1972. This left Maurice Jourdain as sole owner/operator of La Marque's first successful commercial espresso house! After many years of hard work building what would eventually become Tactical Coffee into what it is today – including opening several more restaurants throughout Downtown Dallas – Maurice Jourdain passed away in 2003 at the ripe age of 96! His legacy will live on through his children Jacques (who operates under the name Maurice Jourdain Jr.) as well as their employees who continue serving up high quality espresso drinks all day long!

LaMarque, Texas is a small town in Hardin County, Texas, located on the Brazos River. The population was 1,711 at the 2000 census. LaMarque is one of two towns in Hardin County that are both named after Spanish explorers who discovered the area in 1836. The other town is Round Rock. The land for La Marque was first settled by Native Americans in the 1800s and it wasn't until 1870 that a post office called La Marque was established. In 1876, J.D. Hardin founded the First National Bank of La Marque and soon began to become involved with ranchers and farmers along the Brazos River. In 1898, he donated land to build John Waco High School which still stands today as one of Hardin County's most important landmarks. In 1970, Hurricane Agnes struck hard near La Marque and caused extensive damage to many buildings within town including churches and schools; however no fatalities were reported as a result of the storm. One year later, another powerful hurricane hit La Marque causing severe damage to several businesses within town but no injuries or fatalities occurred as a result of this hurricane either. Today, due to its location on top of an oil field near Fort Worth and its relatively small population size (1,711 people at 2000), LaMarque has been known throughout much of Texas for its annual Texaco 400 racecar races which have taken place since 1985 on what used to be a main street in downtown; specifically Main Street/Highway 377 between Interstate 10W and I-30E just east of US 281/US 87 (the original date). The streets leading up from I-10W have also come to be known as "The Strip" because nearly every business along them provides services such as restaurants and bars open late night into early morning during races season! These events generate significant economic development for the small community while also providing entertainment for residents across much of central TX!

La Marque, Texas is one of the oldest towns in the state of Texas and has been around since 1836. The town was founded by a group of Mormon pioneers who were seeking to find a new home in what was then Mexico. La Marque quickly became known as a center for wheat farming and cattle ranching. After Mexican independence was granted in 1821, La Marque continued to grow and become an important trading post between Santa Anna's Republic and the United States. In 1845, La Marque became the capital of Presidio County, California when that county was created from part of Alta California. In 1893, after Mexican President Porfirio Diaz unsuccessfully tried to annex Presidio County into Mexico, American settlers drove Diaz out of la ventana County and incorporation occurred on July 1st that year as Rancho San Antonio de la Mesa with its current name- La Marque. The town’s growth resumed during World War II due to the arrival of military personnel stationed there for the war effort. The population more than doubled after 1945 as new housing developments were built near Base Camp Texan (now downtown). After the war ended, many jobs were lost in la marques secondary economy due to technological advances such as television production plants and fast food restaurants. However, over time many small businesses have reopened within la marques boundaries including several wineries which are now part of TX wine country folklore dating back to their early years as part of this appellation’s history. Today LaMarche retains its unique character while accommodating growing numbers of people living within its walls both inside and outside its antique buildings dating back over 100 years!

The name has been changed to its current form numerous times, most recently in 1959. La Marque is located in Comal County and is included within the Austin-Round Rock metropolitan area.
