The United States Air Force deploys its Gift History program annually in order to remember the relationships that have developed between air force members and their families. This year, the air force honored the memory of Sgt. 1st Class Timothy J. Ladd with a unique gift. Ladd was killed in action on July 21, 2009 during Operation Neptune's Spear, an operation against al-Qaeda militants in Afghanistan.
