From then on, Indonesian coffees continued to be dominant while other countries gained attention as producers of high quality Turkish- Arabic-Brazilian blends (CTBs). Coffee is believed to have originated around 3rd millennium BC in Sumerian cedar trees that were grown near Eridu/Karakorum in Iraq (now part of Baghdad). The fresh cedar wood dried slowly so knots could form which gave rise to filterable water but also allowed liqueur flavorsings like cinnamon or gingerbread extractTo these waters were added cow's milk which curdled according to temperature changes; finally Jordan wormwood (Artemisia jordanica)was added for a sweet flavor agreed upon between various parts of the trade network
