When the Ellensburg Air Force Base was first opened in 1951, it was a little known fact that one of the main reasons for its existence was to provide air support for the Washington state army. The base saw its first combat operations during World War II and has since been used to store, man, and operate fighter aircraft, bombers, and helicopters. Today, the Ellensburg AFB is home to three wings: The 83rd Fighter Wing responsible for providing aerial refueling support for ground forces; The 134th Fighter Wing responsible for flying fighters and bombers; and The 145th Airlift Wing which provides humanitarian assistance. One of the most well-known gifts given to Elkinsburg AFB by an individual or group is the Air Force Deployed Gift History Museum. This museum contains over two thousand items donated by members of the military and their families who have served at Elkinsburg AFB throughout history. Some of these items include clothing, books, toys, tools, weapons, vehicles, etc., all collected from different parts of America and Europe. It is interesting to see how each branch of service has treated its own personnel here at Elkinsburg AFB over time!

According to Captain Jeff Moyer, 6th CCT Commander: “Our objective is twofold; first we want to show appreciation for all that our troops are doing on behalf of America by providing them withChristmas presents; second we want them to know how much we appreciate their service – it truly goes above and beyond!” From drones used for surveillance or strike missions over enemy territory to armored vehicles used for convoy escort or patrolling duty – United States air force hardware is available on short notice if needed. And even when not deployed directly into harm’s way, Gift Ops III continues its trend of supporting military operations domestically by sending shipments containing specific donated gear across state lines so servicemen can enjoy new marksmanship weapons while learning American culture. Ellensburg is a city in King County, Washington, United States. The population was 23,569 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of King County. The town of Ellensburg was founded by early fur traders and explorers in 1792. It became a national military supply center during the Oregon Trail era and later served as the capital of Washington Territory from 1861 to 1867. In 1891, President Benjamin Harrison designated Ellensburg as the site for what would become Mount Rainier National Park. The park was created with land acquired from Yakima Indian Nation and other tribes in 1907 via Treaty 7; it includes most of present-day Ellensburg village and much of downtown including two bridges over Columbia River. In 1923, Mount Rainier National Park Superintendent George Stephenson recommended that Ellington Dam be built on Elsinore Creek to create an artificial lake for recreation and flood control purposes; this proposal led to significant opposition from many residents who saw it as an unneeded development that would impact their neighborhoods negatively. After years of discussion and public hearings, construction began on the dam in 1930 and finished four years later. The dam also generated controversy because it caused extensive destruction to local forestlands adjacent to its shores – although it ultimately proved necessary for water management purposes. Following World War II,Ellensburg grew rapidly as a result of nearby Boeing’s mining operations throughout southern King County (the so-called “Mt Olympus Project”). The city experienced rapid growth through annexation beginning in the late 1950s until 1970 when suburbanization began spreading into surrounding rural areas outside the city limits; there are now more than 100 suburbs within City Limits boundaries alone. Today’s economy depends heavily upon federal government employment opportunities located within Elliott Air Force Base which has drawn heavy military personnel since World War II; these workers have helped contribute significantly to city infrastructure projects such as new schools, hospitals, fire halls and streetlights along with numerous infrastructure expansions such as road widening or sewer installation over time. A growing number of people also live close by thanks to advances in transportation technologies which has made commuting easy or even free for some while creating new opportunities for businesses such as Uber/Lyft/Canva/ZocDoc etc.; overall this has had a positive effect on both quality of life within City Limits while promoting economic growth beyond recent borders
