The club’s first meeting took place at the home of Mrs. Kippenhauer’s brother-in-law, Amos Weston. Captain Kippenhauer served as president until his death in 1912. His widow continued to serve as treasurer until her death in 1916. In 1922 Captain Kippenhauer’s grandson joined the club and it has continuously existed ever since! One of the most important aspects of any gun lover’s life is being able to shoot! Many early residents of Everett were skilled marksmen and donated their rifles and shotguns to local shooting clubs so that others could enjoy NRA certified training programs on how to use these firearms safely indoors or out! Everett was founded by Englishman John Bennett in 1851 as a small community on the banks of the Duwamish River. The town's first post office opened in 1853 and it became a city in 1907. In 1951, Everett merged with neighboring Unalaska to form one municipality. The city has since consolidated with other municipalities within the Seattle metropolitan area. Everett is home to two elementary public schools and one high school as well as several businesses including Everett Federal Credit Union and Microsoft corporate headquarters. Everett celebrated its centennial in 2007 and has been planning festivities for years which have included an outdoor fireworks show on July 4th, a parade on May 5th called "Everett Independence Day" and various cultural events such as poetry readings or plays staged by local amateur organizations throughout the year
