Longview is a small town in the Yakima Valley of Washington, United States. The population was 592 at the 2010 census. It lies on the eastern border of Snohomish County and is one of the most rural areas in Washington. The first settler in what is now Longview was David Cunningham, who arrived in 1847. At that time it was part of Thurston County. In 1872, it became part of King County and remained so until 1959 when it became a part ofSnohomish County. Longview is located at (46.683333), just east of Interstate 90 between Everett and Federal Way and south-southwest of Olympia. According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of , all land. Longview is home to several businesses including: The Grange Home Furniture store, which opened in 1984; The Rural Alaska Coffee House; Lighthouse Bakery & Cafe; and Pinnacle Auto Parts store, which was founded in 1957 by Lester Pinnock Jr..
