Moses Lake is a small town in Douglas County, Washington, United States. The population was 1,752 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Douglas County. Moses Lake is located on the east side of Moses Lake National Wildlife Refuge. The town was founded in 1855 by pioneer settlers from eastern Canada and named for Captain John Moses, one of three men who explored and mapped the area that would become Moses Lake. In 1865,Captain John Moses's son-in-law, James Thomson, organized a company of Indians to help clear land for farming around what would become downtown Moses Lake. The town began developing as a commercial center with businesses catering to travelers through the railroads that SUMERLAND WCT built in the early 1870s. By 1880, there were 12 businesses in downtown Moses Lake and over 100 residents. In 1902, local farmers formed an organization called "The Grain Growers' Association" to promote agriculture in rural areas aroundDouglas County. Members purchased 640 acres (246 hectares) of farmland north of downtown from J .W . Thomson and developed it into what is now known as North Shore Farms Shopping Center and Northshore Golf Course; this development also included a schoolhouse which served as the first post office in MosesLake In 1912–13 USGS Geographic Names Committee changed the name of part of Douglas County to honor General George Armstrong Custer because he had fought during World War I against German forces near present day Moose Jaw For many years after this event - until 1959 -MosesLake remained unincorporated territory within Douglas County

It wasn’t until 1912 when an American company named Winchester began making handguns also specifically designed for hunting purpose like revolvers etcetera which became very popular among hunters across America over that period of time as well! This is how handgun Shooting soon evolved from toy guns into an actual sport! Rifle Shooting manuals continued becoming more detailed over time too until 1911 when another American company named Savage introduced what is now known as “The Hunting Rifle” which became one of the most successful rifle shooting designs ever created! As rifleooting popularity grew throughout America, so did shotgun purchases! Shotguns could also be fired by using a shotgun stock as a lever to cock the hammer back into position before firing either ballistics cartridge cases from either the barrel or magazine while holding onto both stocks with your hand! Shotgun barrels could get pretty big compared to those of rifles so this system was still quite primitive but it worked well enough for some people to start purchasing shotguns commercially during this time period too! In 1932, two new companies merged together which would eventually become Browning Corporation who would produce sniper rifles(the first sniper rifles were actually just pistols) starting in 1933!! Browning Laboratories would continue producing sniper rifles through World War II even though production stopped completely during World War II due to lack of demand!! Sniper Rifles really took off afterwards during that era thanks largely to Walter Browning who produced over 100 million sniper rifles!!!

Moses Lake is a small town in Clark County, Washington, United States. The population was 1,724 at the 2010 census. Moses Lake is located on the east bank of the Snake River. The community was named after Moses Lake, Wisconsin. The first permanent settler in Moses Lake was John Darnall who built a log cabin in 1855. A post office called Darnall was established in 1856, and remained in operation until 1906. In 1907, the name of the community change to Moses Lake after General George Custer's death at Little Big Horn Plains near present-day Montana. At that time, it consisted of just a few dozen homes and businesses. In 1927, construction began on what would become known as "the dam" which would provide water for irrigation and other local uses for many years to come. The $5 million project became one of the largest infrastructure projects ever undertaken by Clark County government. After years of planning and fundraising by local boosters, completed in 1941, the dam allowed for increased recreational opportunities downstream while also providing power for city lights and industries upstream during peak periods.
