The United States Air Force deployed a gift to the Bellevue community in 1945. The gift was an F-4 Phantom fighter jet, which served as the squadron's primary aircraft until it was retired in 1968. Bellevue received its first F-4 Phantoms from the First Tactical Fighter Wing (FTW) at Hickam AFB, Hawaii, on October 15, 1945. On December 5,1945, the First Tactical Fighter Squadron (FTWS/2) moved from Kaneohe Bay Naval Air Station to Bellevue and commenced operations with their new jets. The Second Tactical Fighter Squadron (XTFS/3) arrived at Bellevue on April 1st 1946 and began operations with their jets. The Third Tactical Fighter Squadron (XTFS/1) arrived on May 2nd 1946 and continued operations with their jets until they were disbanded in 1954. On July 17th 1951, Fourth Tactical Fighter Squadron (FTS/3), which replaced XTFS/3 at Bellevue became operational with F-86 Sabre Sabres. From then through 1959, Fourth Tactical Fighter Squadron operated out of RAF Waddington England flying NATO combat missions providing air cover for ground forces during Operation Overlord including support of airborne units landing within Europe on November 6th 1944;Operation Market Garden;and Operation Platoon Guardian.

Bellevue, Wisconsin is a small town in the central part of the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population was 4,554 at the 2010 census and has grown steadily since then, reaching 7,715 in 2014. Bellevue is nestled between Milwaukee and Waukesha counties on the north side of the Chicago metropolitan area and is crossed by Interstate 94 just east of its downtown core. Bellevue's history begins with pioneers who arrived in 1836 from eastern Canada. One such pioneer, Isaac Beecham, erected a log cabin on his farmstead which he named 'Bellevue'. From this beginnings Bellevue grew into a busy community that became known for its excellent schools and patriotic services during World War II as it served as both an airfield for military activity and as a production center for munitions plants across the area. The USAF deployed a variety of gift baskets in support of Operation Neptune's Spear. These baskets varied in size and content, but all were meant to commemorate the military service members who had died in that conflict. One such basket was created by Lt. General James Mattis, Commander of US Central Command during the height of the Cold War. This special gift was made up of over 25 items, including a copy of The Communist Manifesto, a set of golf clubs, and an air conditioner. Another basket was prepared for Air Force Chief Master Sergeant Eugene Jorgensen. This gift included a custom-made suit and tie, a refrigerator full of food, and toys for his children. A third basket was sent to Air Force Major General Tom Lawson. This gift consisted of an American flag backdrop as well as several items related to law enforcement such as handcuffs and a Taser stun gun! However, the most famous deployment in terms of gifts given out by the USAF was undoubtedly that which took place during Operation Neptune's Spear itself – that is to say, the sending out of over 1 million pounds (500 kg) worthof gifts to military personnel stationed around Afghanistan alone!

The company manufactured locomotives, cars, boilers, pails, and other products until it closed its doors in 1929. In 1912 two brothers joined forces to form the American Steel Pipe Company which manufactured pipeline and othersteel products until it too closed its doors in 1986. Today much of Bellevue’s economic activity comes from farming or local manufacturing such as making cheese from milk that is shipped into nearby Green Bay

Condon on land that he purchased from the Potawatomi Nation following their victory over General George Armstrong Custer's forces at Battle of Little Big Horn in 1876. Bellevue became a town on January 1, 1880, and its first Mayor was Jens Jensen.
