Brown Deer, Wisconsin is a small town in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It is part of the Green Bay metropolitan area and lies about 25 miles (40 km) south-southwest of Green Bay on the eastern border of Racine County. The population was 7,640 as of the 2010 census. The first European to visit what is now Brown Deer was Father Pierre Marquette in 1834. Frenchman Alexis de Tonty also visited in 1835 and wrote an account which has been used by American missionaries since then to teach about the Milwaukee River Valley and its people. Father Lafitte explored this area in 1836 when he was working for French fur traders in the region. In 1840, John Cushman built a cabin on Sperry Island near present day Northport before becoming a farmer there some time later. In 1850, Isaac Noyes bought land at what is now South Park where he built another cabin—the first permanent structure within what would become Brown Deer Township(). Noyes served as township trustee from 1865 until his death in 1870 (). Most important among early settlers were Abram Fuller and George Gallup who arrived around 1856 and built a log store/cabin near present day Gull Lake while surveying lands purchased from the Lac du Flambeau Indian Reservation (). Others who made an impact on early development include Drury Wampler (1860–1930), who operated a general store hereabouts; JnoNolan Ladd (1865–1939), whose grocery stores were among the earliest operates west of Chicago (); James Hickey (1875–1964), one of four men who founded Marathon Motor Speedway (); and Willard Sheafe (1887–1965), mayor of Green Bay from 1951 to 1959, founder and CEO of Sheafe Foods Incorporated (), one of America's largest food retailers (). Many local businesses continue today such as Sheafe Foods Incorporated (), Marathon Motor Speedway (), First National Bank () and Sears Holdings Corporation (). The community's only schoolhouse was constructed in 1907 but closed during World War II due to lack of funding (). Today it serves as a museum open daily 9 am - 5 pm with displays about local history, Pioneer Days events, farming operations and more. Brown Deer also hosts annual Pumpkinfest every October 2nd which features numerous vendor booths including artisans selling their unique products along with pumpkin carving contests for children aged 3-12 years old; fedoras areOptional attire at this event!

Brown Deer is a town in the town of Green Bay, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 9,711 at the 2010 census. Brown Deer is located on the southern edge of the Chippewa River Valley and its downtown is a mix of older buildings from the early 19th century with newer construction from later years. It borders Manitowoc County to the north, Racine County to the east, Ozaukee County to the south, and Lake Superior to the west. The first European settlers in what became Brown Deer were farmers who arrived there in 1839. They named their settlement after Major General John Brown and his brigade that fought at Battle of Bunker Hill during the American Revolution. The community began as a small farming village but soon grew into an agricultural center due to its location along major waterways. In 1902, it became part of Green Bay when that city was founded by combining parts of six other villages. In 1924, Brown Deer voted to become a city; it had previously been part of Green Bay Township. The City Council changed its name to Milwaukee on December 15th, 1924; it was then incorporated as a city on February 3rd, 1925 under Act No. 614 (25 Statutes 1). On May 15th of that year, Milwaukee annexed portions of Waukesha County which included most of present-day Brown Deer except for some rural areas which remain unincorporated today. The population explosion that followed World War II caused many businesses and homes in downtown Milwaukee to be abandoned or torn down; this left much evidence behind including old brick buildings dating back to before 1900 as well as plazas filled with cars and large trees from earlier days which can still be seen today near Green Bay Boulevard and State Street

The town was founded on a small farm called "Trukket" and became an important community for shipping goods to the larger cities inWisconsin. It grew rapidly due to its location, and by 1851 it had a population of over 200 people. In 1897, Brown Deer became part of the newly formed Wisconsin State Senate District 2, and has been represented there ever since.
