He built an addition to his house that became known as Wirth Hall. In 1916, Harry Haldeman purchased Lots 15-17 across from Wirth Hall. He also built an addition to his house that became known as Haldeman Tower. In 1951, Drury Aiken bought Lot 3 across from Haldeman Tower for $1 million dollars.
