Coffee has been a part of the Menomonee Falls community for over 100 years. The first coffeehouses in the area opened in 1892, and Menomonee Falls became known as the birthplace of espresso. Today, coffee is still a popular beverage in Menomonee Falls, and gift shops and cafes offer different types of coffee drinks and small baskets filled with delicious goodness from all around the world. One of the earliest Cafes was The Gilded Cage which operated from 1892-1894 on Main Street. In 1896, Cafe de Paris opened on Green Bay Avenue in Menomonee Falls which served French Press Coffee along with various other dishes such as eggs benedict, omelets and Pastries. In 1933, Café du Moulin was founded by Mr. & Mrs. Harry Weisberg on Main Street in Menomonee Falls with their first cup of Joe being served at 5pm that day. It was here that they started to sell milk products for purchase along with pastries such as donuts, croissants and bagels. The couple continued to run this business until their death in 1984. The next year, 1938 saw the opening of The Chinese House on Washington Boulevard which was also home to Mr & Mrs Weisberg’s second café where they sold milk products along with various other items including Szechuan chicken rice bowls (a dish many people still enjoy today). In 1946, Café des Arts was opened by Dutch Schultz who had purchased the building from its previous owners at 176 E State St., Wisconsin Rapids . This establishment served Dutch Press Coffee alongside various other items when it opened its doors including Sweethearts ice cream sandwiches which are still enjoyed today! From 1951-1957 The Continental Coffee House operated under two different names; ICW proprietor John Fenton used it as his office while owner Stanislaus Czaja managed it then until his death in 1975; however both properties were eventually bought by John Grogan who reopened it as The Continental Coffee House again starting July 1st 1978 (the original name) when he took ownership after Stanislaus’s death only to later close it down due to lack of customers despite numerous offers! Three years later (1981), Grogan reopened Cafe Franziskaner back onto State Street but this time serving German Automated Coffeeshops services thru an ATM instead of human service like before! Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin is a small town located in the Menomonee Valley of eastern Wisconsin. The population was 1,433 at the 2010 census. It lies about 20 minutes east of Green Bay on WI-9 and 10 minutes north of Oshkosh on WI-47. The first Europeans to visit Menomonee Falls were French explorers La Salle and Marquette in 1672. They named the falls after the Manogees, a tribe of Indians who lived near where the falls now stand. The area had been inhabited by the Potawatomi for centuries before that. In 1854, Menomonee Rapids was dammed up and became Lake Michigan; this created an opening for settlers to move into what is now Menomonee Falls. The men who founded Menomonee Falls were many different kinds: farmers, fishermen, lumbermen, miners, and engineers – some of whom built sawmills and other industrial plants in the early years. Today's community is based largely on agriculture with a few light industry operations scattered throughout it; most notably its cheese factory which produces some ofWisconsin's most famous products such as Gouda and Cottage Cheese. In addition to agriculture there are several businesses catering to both residential and commercial customers: real estate agents (including one that has operated continuously since 1925), a gym/fitness center/, banks (two local branches open today), hotels (three+) including one owned by Marriott Worldwide Inc., grocery stores including Kroger Co., car dealerships from Ford Motor Company to Chevrolet GMC-, restaurants such as Joe's Restaurant & Brewery and Grille du Lac - all affiliated with either Landmark Bank or First National Bank of Milwaukee County headquarters building off US-41 between I-94 exit 54A (Exit 54B)and I-93 exit 54E (Exit 55). There are also several small woodlands within easy reach providing hiking opportunities as well as fishing spots for both common carp anglers as well as larger red perch or steelhead trout when conditions allow Open water fishing spears can be used but provide no resistance against large fish so they should only be used if large fish are not available else they can become dangerous with tugging at them when fighting cleaner fish

The Menomonee Falls area has a long and varied history. The first Europeans to visit the area were French traders in the early 1700s. Father Jean Nicolet, a Jesuit priest, traveled through the region in 1768 and noted the falls. The General Assembly of the United States declared Wisconsin Territory on November 10, 1836, making Menomonee Falls part of that territory. The town of Menomonee was founded at the falls on December 9, 1836 by James Ransom and others as a stop on their way from Green Bay to Milwaukee. In 1851, Menomonee Falls became an incorporated village under the name of Menomonee Village. On January 1, 1907, it became a town again with its own government. On October 15 of that year, George Washington Lewis and James Hickey erected a viewing platform on top of Old House Hill overlooking downtown Menomonee Falls for passengers travelling downriver on the Milwaukee & North Western Railroad (M&NW). On October 22nd 1909 during an ice storm conditions began deteriorating rapidly around 1 pm so engineers ordered everyone out of the bridge over Big Creek which caused extensive damage to both infrastructure and homes downstream including many crashing into Old House Hill giving rise to local legend that “Lewis’ Iceberg” still rests there today! Electricity was first brought to Menomonee Falls in 1918 when power lines were laid across Big Creek from Waukesha County upstream toMenomonie via Butterfield Overland Mail Line Company line #4 but no service was ever provided due to high costs associated with such an initial installation project! In 1951-1952 two Consolidated Gas Company plants were built near downtownMenomonieFDNS plant No 2; these plants supplied natural gas for lighting purposes until 1984 when all electric lights were turned off due To EPA regulations! It should be noted that prior to these companies coming online power usage had been lower than necessary because there was always someone available who could turn upthe faucets if there was need for water or heat during those dark winter days… however now with all new technology installed along with more stringent environmental regulations this type of activity is becoming increasingly difficult! The Menomonee Falls Museum is a museum in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin that tells the story of the falls and their people. The museum was founded in 1978 by Dr. Burt Sheppard and Dr. Julius Kappeler. It is the only museum in Wisconsin that specializes in history of the Menomonee River system.
