The Mount Pleasant Coffee Company was founded in 1879 by J.P. Maga and his wife, Lizzie. The company became a major player in the Milwaukee coffee industry and produced some of the most successful roasts in the business. In 1925, Maga retired from the company and was replaced by his son, Harry Maga. Harry Maga continued to produce world-renowned roasts until his death in 1971. The company continued to operate under their three sons until it merged with another local coffee shop chain, Starbucks, in 1997.
Mount Pleasant is a town in the U.S. state of Wisconsin, located on the edge of the Driftless Area near Menomonie. The population was 9,972 at the 2010 census. The town was first settled in 1854 by De Witt Clinton and others from New York City who came overland across the Great Lakes. They named their new township Mount Pleasant after General George Washington's plantation in Virginia where they were living as refugees during the American Revolution. In 1867, Mount Pleasant became one of twenty-six towns in Racine County when it was organized from part of Green Bay. In 1895, its name changed to Mount Pleasant Township and it remained that way until 2000 when it changed again to Mount Pleasant Borough. During World War II, Mountpleasant experienced some very heavy bombing with more than 100 planes dropping bombs on the community each day for four weeks straight beginning May 6th 1942; this conducted by German bombers known as "Dakota" missions targeting military and civilian targets around Milwaukee and Racine Counties. Parts of Mountpleasant were destroyed or heavily damaged by these bombs including three churches which collapsed due to fire bombings; all but one were rebuilt within a few years following initial damage done by wind and rain effects combined with local labor provided by locals both men and women who had gathered materials available at their homes such as wood, nails, wire hauling equipment etcetera all while risking life or limb doing so; an event now considered to be one of history's great heroism tales even inspiring films like "The Raid" and "Escape From Sobibor". Maga coffee is a type of coffee that was originally grown in the Mediterranean region. It is believed to have originated from beans that were roasted on small, earthenware vessels called magasins. The first mention of maga coffee was in 1612 in a book by Ibn Battuta. This coffee was then brought to India and Persia where it became popular. In 1700, Portuguese traders discovered this coffee and began trading with India for this type of coffee. In 1825, Turkish traders also discovered this coffee and began trading with India for it. The first commercial production of maga coffee took place in 1829 in Brazil. By 1850, there were over 1,000 cafés manufacturing maga coffee. In 1957, the Brazilian government banned the use of caffeine because it thought it might cause addiction among consumers. However, this ban was repealed two years later by decree number 259-A/57). After the repeal of the ban, many people resumed drinking maga Coffee as it remains one of the most popular types of Coffee today (Lemon-Thyme Blends are also very popular).

Mount Pleasant is a town in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 3,811 at the 2010 census. The Mount Pleasant post office was established in 1847, and remained in operation until it closed in 1960. The first settler in what is now Mount Pleasant was John Marshall. He built a log cabin on the present site of the town on December 10, 1847. It was the first building in what would become Mount Pleasant. The town started to form around this cabin and other early settlers soon began construction of their own homes and businesses. By 1860, there were over fifty dwellings in Mountpleasant. The peak of agricultural production occurred during the late 1800s and early 1900s when local farmers produced crops such as corn, soybeans, wheat, oats and potatoes. However by World War I, most of these activities had ended due to competition from large cities across the state which had begun to grow rapidly during that time period. During World War II many people left agriculture for military service or came from rural areas to join the war effort. Many residents also left for various reasons after World War II including changes in technology which led to increased transportation costs and advances in manufacturing which made farming less profitable than before; however some residents did stay on farms until they died or moved away from their home country during that time period
The first white people to ever live in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin were the French in 1821. In 1839, the United States bought land from the tribe of Potawatomi and built a post station on the east side of town. The town was named for General John Custer, who fought in the Battle of Little Bighorn in 1876.
